Closed Cattery Policy

Welcome to Baytal Qittat, our exclusive in-home ragdoll cattery that focuses on the health and preservation of the ragdoll breed created by Anne Baker. We are committed to providing our cats and kittens with the utmost care and attention they deserve, and therefore have a closed cattery policy.

For the health and safety of our cats, kittens, and children, we do not allow any in-person visitations. We understand that many people are well-meaning in their intentions, but they can unknowingly introduce dangerous bacteria and illnesses to our cattery. We take this very seriously, and so we have instituted a monthly video call visitation policy, where you can see your kitten and ask any questions you may have. Additionally, we will send pictures of your kitten on the weekends so that you can see them grow and develop.

Our cattery hours are from Monday through Friday, 11am to 7pm. All calls, emails, messages, and correspondence will happen during those hours. After hour inquiries will be returned on the next business day. 

We are committed to supporting our kitten's families throughout their lives, and we will be here to assist in any problems that arise. We understand that being a first-time ragdoll kitten parent can be a little daunting, so here are some health troubleshooting tips to keep in mind:

- If your kitten has diarrhea, it could be due to stress, dietary changes, or parasites. Ensure they have clean water, are eating a balanced diet, and consult with your vet if the problem persists.

- Ragdolls are prone to hairballs, so it's essential to brush your kitten regularly to help prevent them from developing hairballs.

- Keep your kitten's litter box clean, as dirty litter boxes can lead to urinary tract infections or other illnesses.

- Regular vet checkups are crucial to keeping your kitten healthy and happy. Ensure that you schedule checkups as needed and keep their vaccinations up-to-date.
